YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Privacy and confidentiality are the bread and butter of our relationship. If you work with me, as a workshop attendee, a coachee or in any other format, know that your information is secure. Our work is between us and it will stay that way.

Team Improvus is fully compliant with the current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidance. This page provides further information about the data I collect, why I collect it and how I use it. It also provides guidance on what you can do if you would like to request a copy of your information, make a complaint or delete your personal information.

HOW I OBTAIN PERSONAL DATA

I receive personal data in handful of ways, such as:

  • Workshop Sign Ups and Feedback Forms

  • Newsletter Subscriptions

  • LinkedIn Contacts

  • Conversations through email

  • Coaching clients

  • In person conversations

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION I COLLECT

I collect different information depending on the manner in which you work with me at Team Improvus. 

Typically, some of the data I collect is:

  • Your name

  • Your email address(es)

  • Your age / location.

  • Your wisdom (when you share awesome feedback in the feedback forms)

  • Psychometric data (should you do any coaching with me)

  • Bank account details if you enter into a financial arrangement with me (for payments and refunds)

The GDPR requires that I have lawful bases for processing all information. In my case, I use explicit consent at data collection point, as well as contract for purchased services. 

WHAT I DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your unique data is used strictly by Team Improvus to provide you with the best service and support possible.

If you attend one of my workshops, I look at your feedback to improve my workshops, as well as suggestions on further workshops. I also keep track of attendance and your interest in other services. All of this allows me to collect a pulse of the workshop and your current wellbeing. All details are stored electronically under lock and key (password protected with me as the sole accessible person). 

If you work with me as a coachee, beyond the personal and psychometric data, I will keep notes of our meetings which are also stored electronically in a secure location. If you work with me in any other capacity, as a freelance, event host, or collaboration, know that any information that you provide, either directly or through the process of the discussions and consultations that are had will be stored securely either in paper format or in a password protected electronic space.  

SHARING INFORMATION

I will not share your personal data with any third party.

The sole exceptions to this rule are:

a) if I am required to share information by law

b) if your safety or that of someone else is at serious risk

Even in these rare cases, however, I will do everything in my power to discuss the process with you in full. 

I will never sell or lease your personal data to any marketing agencies or other companies - any 'third parties' at all.  

FEEDBACK

I love feedback! It helps me improve, which is the core of my business. Thank you for providing it when you do :) If you provide feedback, you are consenting to me using it as a ‘testimonial’, but know that if you ever want to remove your feedback or change it any time, you can absolutely do so. HOW I STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The personal information that I hold digitally is securely stored and password protected. Any written information is held securely in a dedicated and secure locked filing cabinet in a secure location. 

THE RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

You have the express right to have any of your personal information that I hold, deleted or removed from our records at any time. This is called the right to be forgotten. In order to do this, I will need to make sure that the request has been made by the person to whom the information pertains and so I may ask a couple of security questions to ensure that this is the case. COOKIES

A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your Internet browser from a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are often used to provide you with a customized experience.

This website is built with Squarespace. By using this website, Squarespace uses certain cookies to store and process user data. Squarespace uses this information to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports ("Statistics") about the website activity for me. By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Squarespace Inc. in the manner described in the Squarespace Privacy Policy .
